Eric Zischkau

Now retired from design of electric train substations and my earlier work with DoD systems, I've been busy preserving our retirement nest egg, repairing the many things that break as there is no excuse to put the chores off, and learning about growing good things to eat. Our blueberry bushes are hard to propagate, but the grape vines are not so hard once I squeezed the secret out a neighbor born in Italy. Our daughters also seem to have good luck with plants, probably due to Martha's good genes. I am also learning Latin prayers now that I am retired.

Being in Mr. Robert McClennen's chemistry classes ultimately led me to the best of chemistry, that with Martha!
Being a twin of my brother Douglas also helped make the trials of public school 'bearable.'
